That’s why it is important subject that banking sector’s expectation from the accounting education. In this research, a survey has been administered to the commercial bank employees in Mersin province in order to reveal the expectancies of bank employees from accounting education. According the result the courses of “Bank and Insurance Accounting “, “Financial Statement Analysis “, “General Accounting” and “Terminal Accounting Transactions” are more important for banking sector.
