Abstract

Since the ingress of Islam into Nigeria, people emerge in learning Arabic language out of curiosity to learn the teachings of Islam, and understand the Noble Quran. Likewise, the business transaction between the Arabs of Northern Africa and the Nigerians during the first Hijri century has an impact in boasting Arabic Language in Nigeria. Thus, Arabic Education took various dimensions and methods in Nigeria, and there are means that leads to circulation of Arabic Language and its progress, such as elementary schools, private academic institutions and Government Schools. In addition to these means, there are other motives that stimulate this flourishing growth, whereas in the present era, there are various grades, and modern systems for learning Arabic Language in Nigeria. All these perspectives will be analysis in this article.
