Variables such as “participation in geography courses and projects, subscribed journals and affiliated groups, parental occupation” were used as the determinants of attitudes on the scale.These variables are different from the variables that were used in previous research such as “gender, education status, class level, grade of success, school attended, diploma grades, number of siblings, father education status, settlement place”. The SPSS 21.0 package program was used in the evaluation of the research data and these results are expressed in the relevant sections. The study shows that “learning environment” is the last place in the development of positive attitudes of students to the geography lesson in Social Studies Education Department. This suggests that more study should be done to reorganize the classrooms.
