Abstract

This research which the relationship between organizational confidence and glass ceiling syndrome that is also one of the primary issues of working life in recent years is executed on public officers of Karaman province. It is determined from the consequences of the analysis obtained from the data accumulated using survey method; employees are in glass ceiling syndrome (3,14) at medium level and in confidence perception (3,17). Therefore it is also determined that there is no difference among groups in glass ceiling and confidence perception in terms of demographic features such as sex, duration of service, age, position and education. Solely it is observed that married public officers have higher glass ceiling perception compared to singles. Results of the paper indicates that the relation between glass ceiling perception and manager is weak and negative; and glass ceiling syndrome affects the organizational confidence at 12,4%. Various suggestions are placed for researchers and pragmatists at final part of the paper.
