Abstract

Service can be defined as the benefit of institutions, people, or the state. It encompasses the compulsory and non-compulsory needs of people and enables them to continue their lives by increasing their quality of life. Nowadays, the service sector has been leading the industry sector and this sector has given more importance to the countries that symbolize the development. In particular, health, education and transport services are among the services carried out by both private institutions and the state. With this increase in service production, the quality factor has also started to be a priority in the service sector. Especially in education, health, security, transportation services, quality has become more important every day. In such services, the cost of poor quality results in uncompensated results. In this study, service marketing will be described in terms of the characteristics of service marketing, quality in service marketing and in education service. Answering the question of how service marketing affects the quality of education will be sought. The study will be carried out in Basic High School in Konya.
