Abstract

Scythians, who lived in the northern steads of the Black Sea, are known as the first Turkish communities to come to Tabriz in 395 BC. The Turks, headed by the Seljuk Dynasty, first encountered the beginning of the 11th century (1015-1021) in the Azerbaijani territory. Following the conquest of the western regions after the Battle of Dandanakan in 1040, Tuğrul Bey came to the city of Rey in 1043 and founded his headquarters here and will start the conquest of the Caucasus region together with the Seljuk princes, who have proved their alleys. During the periods when the Seljuks organized Azerbaijan, Revvads ruled in Tabriz. After the great and devastating earthquake that took place in 1042, the Seljuks who dominated Tabriz were reconstructed and built the city. The Azerbaijani cities, which were under the Turkish domination during the Great Seljuks and Iraqi Seljuks, became more and more important in the economic situation. The arts and trade complement each other and mutually influence one another in the development of the other. The fact that the city of Tabriz is located at the intersection of the caravans and the transit routes has accelerated the development of international commercial activities. XIII. At the beginning of the century, the foreign policy situation of the Caucasus became difficult. The social life of Celaleddin Harezmshah and later the offensive of the Mongols to the Caucasus region has provoked a very bad situation. Many cities have been dispersed and trade routes have become dangerous. As a result of the increase of taxes, the weakening of trade and the poverty of the people, Tabriz lost its former glory rapidly.
