THE NEW HUMAN MODEL WHICH ATATURK WISHED TO BE TRAINED BASED ON THE EDUCATION SYSTEM HE ESTABLISHED ATATÜRK’ÜN KURDUĞU EĞİTİM SİSTEMİYLE YETİŞTİRİLMESİNİ İSTEDİĞİ YENİ İNSAN TİPİ
As an education philosophy, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk regarded as “reasoning” and science” as the base of education. He was also aware that his target known as “exceeding the contemporary civilization level” could realized only thanks to reasoning and science. He also considered education as an effective means to reshape the new Turkish Republic which he established after the victory at Independence War with his nation. In this respect, the major education principle he adopted was “The Re-establishment”. In this study, we examine the new human model which Mustafa Kemal Atatürk wished to be trained based on the education system he established.
