The studies in this area have been sustained both synchronously and diachronically. Besides, one of the criteria that the linguists used in classifying the Anatolian dialects in the contemporary Turkish studies is the use of the present tense suffix. In this study, firstly it was reviewed the literature and then emphasized the differences in the shape of the present tense on the texts compiled from the dialects of Kırıkkale province. In addition to the present tense commonly used in texts, the different present tense suffixes have been identified. Even sometimes it has also been found out that several present tenses are used by same speaker.
