Social media, which is an important means of communication that emerged by the development of the Internet and which affects the society, also attracted the attention of the educators. In terms of education; Communication, collaborative environment, active participation, document-resource sharing, information sharing and skill sharing. According to the arithmetic average and standard deviation values of the descriptive statistics calculated to find out what social media attitudes of the students are, the social media attitudes of the students are high and they have developed a positive attitude toward social media platforms. This work; Girne was prepared to analyze the analysis of the views of 386 students in the Vocational School of American University on social networks. In this context, a questionnaire was applied to the students, the data obtained were analyzed and the purpose of social networks was evaluated. According to the results, it was determined that the frequency of internet use was directly related to the use of social media by the participants, and differences were found in the social media usage times according to the gender variable.
