Abstract

Elementary school students in the study was aimed to determine the perception of practical traffic education. 50 students receiving education in Yeniçağa constitute the study group. Data were collected using a structured interview form. According to the findings of the research students are like all the practical traffic education. Students stop at a red light, preparing the yellow light, pass the green light, we must buckle up, give way to pedestrians should slow down the passage pedestrian use for underpasses and overpasses are safe transitions, obey speed limits, across the crossing go looking left and right, learn the traffic signs, acting as respectful to pedestrians on the finding that 96% of ulaşılmıştır.öğrenci learn the traffic rules after learning of traffic rules, they said they are permanent after they learned practical traffic education. All of the students who participated in the practical training of traffic they want to continue the training. In this context, the implementation of traffic education giving place to the practical training at the elementary school level is important.
