Abstract

This study was planned and conducted to investigate work-family conflict, family-work conflict and life satisfaction according to several socio-demographic variables and to determine the effects of work-family conflict and family-work conflict to life satisfaction. Research data was obtained by appleying survey to 520 teachers who work in Ayaş, Güdül, Nallıhan and Beypazarı. According to research results; the relationship between the country where participants work and work-family conflict; education level, work position, number of childeren, felt wealth level and family-work conflict; gender, felt income level and life satisfaction were statistically meaningful. Moreover, the relationship between work-family conflict and family-work conflict was found one directional statiscally meaningful whereas life satisfaction and work family conflict was found negative way statiscally meaningful. Also, it was determined that work-family conflict increases when family-work conflict increases and life satisfaction increases when work-family conflict decreases.
