Our traditional clothing which is a piece of our cultural values is still worn in some of the districts and the villages of Sinop. Keeping our traditional dresses which are convicted to be forgotten alive should be among our primary purposes. Within the scope of the study, six women’s boleros in Sinop Archaeological Museum were examined. The boleros were recorded by using observation and interview techniques. The collected data were interpreted using descriptive method. The samples of bolero in the scope of the study were examined in accordance with the observation receipts. In these observation receipts, the materials and the colours used in the clothing, information about its pattern, cutting, sewing, lining, adornment and mould properties and sizes were specified. In the scope of the practice the clothes were photographed; their sizes were measured; the fabrics and stitches were documented after analysis.
