Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the opinions of the teacher candidates related to the pedagogical formation education. The model of the research is the descriptive research model. The study group of the research comprises totally 285 prospective teachers who take the 175 students from public personel selection exam students in Ankara and 110 students from Faculty of Literature of Çankırı Karatekin University. In the selection of the university and the students who constitute the study group, an accessible and applicable sampling method was used. Data collection tool that consists of two partswas used in order to collect data for the research. In the first part, there are 5 multiple-choice questions regarding to the teachers' gender, level of education, school where they got education, branch, and their appointment condition. In the second part, there exists Likert-type scale with 20 articles including the views of teacher candidates about their pedagogical education. Th
