Abstract
In schools, the tasks of organizing changing educational requirements, following these developments closely and giving information to school management, teachers, students and parents are made by guidance teachers in a coordinated way. Guidance service required from students can vary at each school level, and expectations and perceptions of school staff, school management, parents and students from the school counseling service can show some differences. The aim of the study is to reveal secondary school students’ perception and expectations from school guidance services, how often they go there and viewpoints of their families and friends about school guidance services. The research was designed in the screening model. As a sample of the survey the typical case sampling, which is one of the aimed sampling methods, was used. The case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was deemed appropriate for the research. In the study, in order to reveal secondary school student
