The liberalization and open market economy provided a turning point in foreign trade processes for emerging economies around the world as well as Turkish economy. As the competition of international trade in the world has become more important, Turkey has to improve and adapt herself to rapid changing competition conditions. It is observed that, although quite late established Eximbank in Turkey unlike some other developed countries, Türk Eximbank has hastily taken its important role in Turkish exports. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the role of Türk Eximbank in the Turkish export volume. For the analysis, primary and secondary data sources are used including face-to-face interview method with Eximbank credit-insurance experts and research department.
