Abstract

The process experienced in the field of art Until the 1960s has led to the Conceptual Art movement whose material is concept and whose effects continue today. Conseptual Art is known as the idea of objectless art rather than the conventional art. The idea is more important than form. Dialectic between art and education after 1960 that interdisciplinary approach is dominant is important especially in terms of the prevalence of conceptual art and handling of Conseptual Art. A program that expands the limits of expression presented and implemented in institutions that train art educator contributes to art education in many ways. The aim of this study is to examine the conceptual art and its philosophy, to determine the place and importance of conceptual art for art education.
