Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine views of parliamentary candidates on electoral campaigns carried out in 2015 general elections and to compare campaigns. Study was designed with the qualitative research methods and participant group consists four parliamentary candidates nominate as a first candidate in the November 1 general elections by four political parties (AKP, CHP, MHP ve HDP) that exceed the electoral threshold in June 7 general elections. The opinions collected by semi-structured interview form that developed by researcher and consists of four questions. Data were subjected to content analysis through NVivo 10. Parliamentary candidates used political communication tools; face-to-face communication, telecommunication and mass media in election campaigns. They also gave importance the communication tools required by new communication technologies. Political marketing activities of the November 1 elections took place in a more limited place.
