Abstract

A laboratory in the process of teaching and learning process is especially for physical sciences; a physical sciences class without a laboratory is unimaginable. A laboratory in a Physical sciences class is very important especially in terms of teaching abstract concepts and due to it allows use of visual materials. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the way physical sciences teachers’ use of laboratories to reach educational objectives and the way the experiments are conducted according to teacher views. The results demonstrate that teachers in general teach in classes rather than laboratories except a few ones who stated that they use laboratories. The findings also shows that experiments are conducted as demonstration experiments in general.
