Abstract

It is a known fact that even in an ordinary movie an image solely cannot convey the information sufficienly.. That is the reason why, the directors have to pay the same attention to audio editing too as they have to pay to image editing. In cinematographic narrations, the sound designs began gradually to be created by new sense (meaning)-oriented modilations. As a natural consequence of it, the cinematographic experiences of audience grew richer and became differentiated. Hence, not only for the directors but also simultaneously for the audience, it became necessary to be aware of how silence design as a dramatic component is used in expressive qualities and how sound-silence tension is built up well in advance. One of the most obvious dramatic effects of present-day cinematography is the presentations of silence.
