Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine finance models proposed for Turkish Higher Education System in literature regarding finance of Turkish Higher Education System according to structuralist (welfare state) and neo-liberal perspectives. Qualitative research methods and techniques were used in the study which was conducted by using case study pattern. Data of the study were collected through document analysis and literature review regarding researches including structuralist and neo-liberal finance perspectives and researches proposing finance models for Turkish Higher Education System was carried out within the scope of document analysis. Content analysis and frequency analysis were used to analyze collected data. Finance models were analyzed under the themes of “reason” and “method” through content analysis. When evaluating the results of the study, it is seen that neo-liberal perspective is predominant finance perspective in the models proposed for finance of Turkish Higher Educatio
