COMPARISON OF CHILD-CENTERED APPROACHES APPLIED BY PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION IN TERMS OF THEORETICAL BASIS, EDUCATION ENVIRONMENT AND ROLE OF TEACHER OKUL ÖNCESİ EĞİTİMDE UYGULANAN ÇOCUK MERKEZLİ YAKLAŞIMLARIN KURAMSAL TEMEL, EĞİTİM ORTAMI VE ÖĞRETMENİN ROLÜ AÇISINDAN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI
In this research, comparison of child-centered approaches applied by pre-school education in terms of theoretical basis, education environment and role of teacher were aimed. Reggio Emilia, High Scope, Waldorf and Montessori approaches were compared in this research. Document review method that is one of the qualitative research methods was used. Field survey was carried out by searching relevant resources and data. Books, thesis, articles and reports related with the research were surveyed and the data obtained were integrated sistematically. Evaluation was made by associating findings and by creating judgements. At the end of the research, common anf different features of Regio Emilia, High Scope, Waldorf ve Montessori Approaches were identified and described in detail.
