These fictionalized works mostly criticize the system and its political and social structure under the name of “a dream”. Especially these kinds of literary and political criticisms have the characteristics of an “escape” and “shelter”. To illustrate, when Tevfik Fikret’s some projects and ideas are considered, his fantasies display an introverted, fragile, and dreamy style. Specifically, Tevfik Fikret fantasizes about developing an independent human type which forms the intellectual foundation of his attempts. To do this, he plans to realize his educational dream “Yeni Mektep (The New School)”. The objectives of Fikret’s utopian educational project are as follows: to educate the new generation, to make them have a skill and profession, to enhace the cultural level of the community.
