Abstract

Bolshevik revolution influenced the world public opinion as well as the French Revolution in 1789 in the terms of politician and economic. Although this the studies about the economic influences of Bolshevik Revolution to Ottoman State is little if any. However this process which started in 1917 had influenced negatively Ottoman Money Markets until 1920’s. As a result of the Bolshevik revolution which occured in Russia in 1917, hundred of thousands of Russian citizens who escaped from Bolsheviks refuged in the Ottoman country. These Russian citizens brought large quantities of paper rubles which was printed in the period of Tsarist Russia and was disappeared the validity with Bolshevik revolution. These rubles which did not have validity in world markets was collected by some awake moneychangers from refugees and launched to Ottoman money market.
