Abstract

Writing training is highly important for one’s education life. Besides, writing is a skill needed and used in many areas of daily life. However, it has been seen that there are significant problems in the field of writing in all levels of education from primary school to university. In this study, it has been intended to get the opinions and solution suggestions of primary school teachers about the writing problems which are seen in the students. This study was carried out in 2011-2012 school year, with 35 primary school teachers working in Ağrı province. The data in this study were collected with the open-ended interview form which is developed by the researchers. The form consists of two parts which are personal information and questions. The data analysis was made with the descriptive analysis technique.
