Abstract

In today’s world, cities have increasingly important value as economic actors. In our ages which competition between cities rather than countries, showing cities up marketing strategies is crucial to improve the competitiveness of countries. For this reason, more effective use of resources in the cities, creating livable spaces, in order to make it into the center of attraction marketing use. The purpose of this study is to determine the importance of city marketing for tourism. It consists of three parts. In part one, the importance of city marketing and focused on the elements to be considered in the marketing of the city. In part two, about marketing efforts that are required for the branding of cities is provided. In part three, making putting out the shortcomings in terms of city marketing of recommendations were made for the needs of the city.
