Clothing materials are one of the parts of the material cultural values with their designs, modes of production, techniques, materials, colours and motifs. It is of great importance to protect these values in order to protect and maintain them reflecting our culture and to convey them to the next generations. The aim of this study is to bring light to the traditional motifs which are on the edge of disappearance because of the dominance of fashion and to transfer these motifs to the next generations. During the study designs with the ‘’Kargı’’ cloth (a cloth special to Çorum) which is woven in Çorum and neighbouring cities were prepared.
