Abstract

Interests and needs of human beings increase with the developing technology and increasing stimulus. Because of increasing stimulus, the advertisements present a great importance in creating a positive image and forming a sales wish. The aim of this research is to mention the general components of advertisement, the relationship of child and advertisement, in addition to these to evaluate two posters whose target group is children. Because of this reason, in addition to taking the subjects of definition of the advertisement, its kinds and usage fields, advertisement in social media age, advertisement agencies, graphics design products, design of the advertisements, relationship of advertisement with children into account, also 16 field researches have been examined which have been realized on the field starting from 1974 till 2004.
