İn this research The effect of four composed songs in four different maqams with modern harmony to the student’s performances is studied. Composed songs maqams was determined as Hüseyni, Uşak, Hicaz and Segah. In the experimental period of the research the students are practiced for 12 weeks. At the end of the experimental stage, the students’ performances are observed by 3 experts and the achievements of the students are determined by their pre-test and final test scores.
